Guy Campanile is an award‑winning journalist with more than three decades of network news experience. His leadership positions at CBS News included Managing Editor at 60 Minutes and Executive Producer of the CBS Evening News. He has covered breaking news from the CBS News broadcast center, reported from multiple conflicts and disasters around the world, and worked assignments spanning papal conclaves in Rome to national political conventions for radio, television and digital platforms. He has produced the top network correspondents of this generation.
Guy was also Executive Producer of CBS News primetime specials including: The Mueller Report: A Turning Point (April 2019), Bravery and Hope: Seven Days on the Frontline (May 2020), Justice For All (June 2020), and Inauguration Day in America (January 2025). Bravery and Hope earned the 2021 Emmy Award for Best News Special and was also honored with nominations for the duPont and Peabody Awards, along with recognition from the Walter Cronkite, Gracie, New York Press Club, NHICM Foundation, and Christopher Awards. Over the course of his career, Guy has received nine national Emmy awards and 17 Emmy nominations.
